Anybody Ever Got Their Arms Waxed?

Gnome>>> Installing Ubuntu from PPA Wingpanel

Wingpanel is an expression of minimalism taken to (or) panel (s) of Ubuntu. Ie a top panel to Ubuntu, but no longer occupies the place that needs strict . It is worth mentioning that this panel was created by the Elementary team.
Nothing better to introduce this new option for a video about it:

been interested if the new panel to install it just add the PPA repository:
sudo apt-add-ppa repository: ripps818/ppa
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install wingpanel
To start, we must press Alt + F2 and type " wingpanel ."
Note: Wingpanel only works on Ubuntu 10.10 .
If we always use it, we just delete and add GNOME panel Wingpanel programs at startup.
This was my desk:

Desktop ultra-minimalist

Tip: Make the GNOME panel in a panel Wingpanel type easily.
  1. We remove the top menu on the left and all the applets we use.
  2. Click the right mouse button on the panel. Expand Uncheck and mark Auto Hide. Then drag the panel to where you want to leave.
  3. Finally, we make the panel not hidden, it appears that floats above the title bar our applications. Gconf-editor started and we will apps> panel > toplevels and choose the top panel with the name you have (mine is in top_panel_screen0 , but I've seen may have another name) . At the option hide_delay we changed the value 2147483647 which is the maximum supported. Means that it takes about 600 hours in hiding the panel.
This was mine:

is half naked, I need to assemble a conky, it's about time.

change if they repent, they can always open a terminal and type:
gconftool-2 - recursive-unset / apps / panel
